Welcome everyone to the marketing for Good show. My name is Tevita and this is Bagheera. So if you are sharp, you may recall that we share the same last name. That's because this kid, this young lady. This woman is my daughter. And the purpose of today's broadcast show is to introduce her to you. She is now a part of the scene.

00:00:28:13 - 00:00:49:06
Tell everybody what you're doing for the TV. The marketer, the rockstar marketing brand. So right now you sound very good. Just. I am sorry. Okay, I feel okay. It's where it's. I'm clear, but it's not. It's like there's nothing coming out. Speak from your pig, bro. No. But that's just another filler word. Oh my goodness.

00:00:49:06 - 00:01:22:17
We say every few words. There's. So right now, my job for rockstar marketing is c o o Chief of operations. But my goal is to get operations in place and grow. Just make sure things are always in order. Operations are good processes. In order for us to grow the business and save all these brands, save all these brands, grow the brands.

00:01:22:17 - 00:01:43:03
Yeah. Bring on new brand. So for the most part, the last 16 or 17 years now, it's been primarily alone. I have a team and I have some video editors. I have a group of people that do help me. But I, I've been kind of keeping a small. And I still want to keep it small.

00:01:43:03 - 00:02:01:23
It's a boutique type of type of agency. I never want to be massive. I don't want to be clients, but I want to get to ten, 15 clients, maybe 20. And in to do so, I need to get my operations tighter. And she comes with some experience. She comes with some intelligence. And I trained her all her life to to be ready for this.

00:02:01:23 - 00:02:34:02
Like, oh, let's go. Really excited about it. In fact, she's already helped me redesign the website. I was about that. So yes, I think is actually crazy to think that you train me. Like, now we're at a point to where I'm rebranding and like, redesigning some of your things and doing your marketing. I find it insane when I was doing your website was is is crazy because this was one of my first websites going into this world.

00:02:34:04 - 00:03:01:15
Because I entered solopreneur entrepreneurship, a year ago, a little over a year ago, and one of my first projects that was a six months in was finally to do my dad's website. He's like, okay, I'm ready. So I helped him restructure the website and redesign completely is a whole new design. Wanted to show brand consistency, that kind of thing because it's something we preach.

00:03:01:17 - 00:03:27:23
And so I want I want his brand, the Rockstar marketing brand, to really be obvious and in your face once you go to the website, like you don't even need a read every page, you just know landing on the homepage what your services are and how we're going to help you. Yeah. And so it was such a fun project and I'm very excited that there are still some pictures we need to change.

00:03:28:00 - 00:03:55:20
Yeah, yeah. I mean, out of pocket for Lulu. He's pointing at you several times, and a lot of you, you you really need attention. Yes, yes, but, I, I really love your website. You do? And also, we were having a, a meeting with the client, and, the client visits my website for some reason while on the call, and she says, hey, PD, who designed your website?

00:03:55:20 - 00:04:20:10
And I'm like, she did. And she's like, I love it. She's like raving. I want this, I just want your website. Just change the photo and change the title. And I want this website made me incredibly proud. One, because it's me. It's my brand, it's website, but also because my child, my kid designed it, knocked it out of the ballpark so you can visit it and check it out for yourself.

00:04:20:10 - 00:04:44:15

There. Dot rock star dot marketing. But also be on top of that. That was that was incredible for selling. But that was not it. She also was raving about the photography. This episode of the marketing for Good Show is powered by US and Teevee. The founder of Rockstar Dot marketing. We have small businesses and local legends grow with smart ads, growth stopping videos and marketing that actually mean something.

00:04:44:15 - 00:05:07:12

No spammy tactics, no faker. Just see just clear strategy, creative execution, and results that don't make you feel gross. So you're building something real and want marketing aligned with your values and your goals. Go to Rockstar Dot marketing. Let's do marketing that's good for business and good for people. She also did my photography behind that, and it's something that I've been rolling out in different types of graphics.

00:05:07:14 - 00:05:30:06
Unknown
She made me look good. She made me feel professional. And, high end is at the end of the day, we want to convey that that image of class, elegance, professionalism. Up until that photo shoot, pretty much. And that redesign, I pretty much did everything myself, and I. I'm proud of it. It did well. It portrayed some level of class.

00:05:30:06 - 00:05:35:14
Unknown
Don't get me wrong, it's not like I was trashy, but.

00:05:35:16 - 00:06:07:05
Unknown
There is something to something different about having someone that knows what they're doing. And that's something, by the way, that I was impressed with. This is the second time I've had a photo shoot with her, but this time was a little a little higher still is. A couple of years after the last one. She's really good at what she does and asking me to pose this way or that way, or stand, something incredibly, different about having a professional shoot you as opposed to trying to figure out what do I need to pose and then, you know, taking your own snapshots.

00:06:07:07 - 00:06:32:09
Unknown
So thank you for that. Thank you for making me look good. I've had it so many positive reviews and positive feedback about the quality and the look of everything. Yes, that's my, My goal is to that. Definitely. Yeah. This project has definitely for filmmakers has gone beyond. No, we haven't announced who did it. We haven't really announced a website as done.

00:06:32:11 - 00:06:51:14
Unknown
And so I do remember that she was like, oh, I want this website. Just change the pitch, put my face right there and change the colors. And we call it a day. And then she's like, and then who did your photography? The photos are awesome. That's what I want to. And then I was me. And so I felt really good because I was so proud of this website.

00:06:51:14 - 00:07:19:10
Unknown
We really haven't launched it where we need to. Okay. So we launched it now. And so getting that kind of compliment definitely many feel really good or the ego, feel the ego to it. So oh my god or dad like, and and she's my offspring. Like, hey, I'm an awesome dad and I'm a great CEO or president or whatever the heck I am in this company.

00:07:19:12 - 00:07:40:03
Unknown
Owner, owner, founder. I brought him out town. I have the talents, have a talented kid. So that obviously filmmaker's mom. That's the point I'm trying to make. So you'll be hearing a lot more from her, seeing her a lot more. And if we work together, you're going to get to meet her because she is, a vital part of the company, and her role is only going to grow.

00:07:40:03 - 00:08:02:07
Unknown
This is just the first step into getting her into the company. Yeah. She's just part time. She's a part time co chief operations officer. But something that I, I really need if I'm going to grow the way I want to grow and build this into a bigger enterprise. And I'm excited. So that's all I have in terms of who you are and what you do.

00:08:02:09 - 00:08:28:12
Unknown
Is there anything you want to share with the world that you're excited about? I'm just excited to help people. Because I believe we both bring two different versions. And, what is it? Two different was the word part. The marketing, marketing is a lot. There's so many branches and different things you can say that is marketing.

00:08:28:12 - 00:09:05:14
Unknown
Consider marketing. He brings the advertising portion and she'll bring, more of the branding, the visual identity. And bringing like a set voice and tone. And we together make sure it's consistent across everywhere. And I think we just become a full on agency at this time. So I'm so excited to we're basically partners at this point to outside of me helping with our marketing operations.

00:09:05:16 - 00:09:33:01
Unknown
We also work together to help his clients, brands and other brands have both sectors and marketing like Cab projects together. And so it feels so awesome to bring the idea into people's worlds and them seeing that one of the best compliments we got recently on a project we just picked up, is we sold, I think we sold product because of our personalities.

00:09:33:03 - 00:10:16:17
Unknown
Like we were vibrant and this is who we are. And so it feel so pulled. It each gets do our individual thing. The work together like our personalities are very similar. So like kind of make magic happen. We're gonna like a, I like to that and something I definitely think is important is, I'm older. She's younger, I think is bringing the, the different generations and different ways of looking at things, to the table, having a young voice as a part of it, understanding the current climate and culture around messaging media, what's going with what's going on, what's trending, what's happening, understanding that because there's a lot of things are

00:10:16:17 - 00:10:42:02
Unknown
happening that I can't quite understand. I'm at that age. I'm finally at that age where I'm like, I don't get it. I like to think I stay on top of, slang and new words are popping up, and I have a fair understanding there, but there's things that I don't understand about the the younger culture, that she can make me aware of and educate me on and bring to the table when working with clients.

00:10:42:02 - 00:11:07:15
Unknown
So I feel that that's an incredibly beneficial aspect of the partnership of this. You know, this partnership when we bring to clients is we can bring both voices, both views, and how we can combine it to benefit the client. Because everyone needs obviously some clients are trying to attract the older individual. Fact is, you should also be speaking to the younger generation who will eventually need you.

00:11:07:15 - 00:11:27:11
Unknown
At least have a voice, and start to even start to think about it. If not, have it as a part of your marketing strategy. So I'm excited about that. That's something that's already come to light with. One of the clients that we're working on is having her share her thoughts around some social media strategies that only she would have understood that I could.

00:11:27:12 - 00:11:59:10
Unknown
So that's fun. Yeah, it actually is fun bouncing ideas. And knowing what's changing. Because I'm also able to understand the trends from ten years ago whenever I wasn't really in the space. So it helps me understand why things are going in the direction is going in. And I also think even though our ages, it's very diverse, we also agree on a lot.

00:11:59:12 - 00:12:20:06
Unknown
Yeah, absolutely. We can agree on a lot. Yeah. Yeah. And so same make it easy. Yeah. I think we, it can be a, it's like, oh, working with family. They don't feel that way yet. Yeah, I know yet. I'll let you know if I try to punch her it. I mean, we'll you'll just see the news.

00:12:20:06 - 00:12:42:13
Unknown
I'll start making sly comments on our picks, but, workable family, my pops. No, it's. We're good. And I feel confident about it. Excited to share more of that as it continues. And maybe have in some reels and, content into the future. As we're fighting it out. I think that would be a great little thing.

00:12:42:14 - 00:13:04:12
Unknown
Oh, yeah. Young generation is resident plan already just to get here? Yes. Like, I don't need to know about that, but I'm just thinking, like that was your boss now. Yeah. Essentially, she's in charge of making sure that I'm recording and shooting and creating content. With my voice and my personality, my face. And in fact, this podcast, just because she says we have to schedule it, and I haven't in a while.

00:13:04:12 - 00:13:30:12
Unknown
I've been incredibly busy, but, in, in his app and I need to mark it for myself and put my voice out there. So with that being said, expect more. She's she's on my ass. Anything else? If you're having any marketing issues, troubles? Where are your team? Give us a call. Give us a call. Rock star dot marketing.
